I help my clients manage their workload by accomplishing tasks related to data entry, writing, social media, blog management and more. I am available for hire as a contract worker on an hourly basis, and I welcome inquiries and new contract proposals.

The Whitworthian, Graphics Editor, 2009-2011

DUTIES: Plan charts, graphics and cartoons for weekly student newspaper. Assign tasks and manage staff of writers and designers. Use Adobe suite to create graphics, layout pages for print and online editions of the paper. Wrote articles for Arts & Culture section.

Spokane Civic Theatre, Intern, July 2007 to June 2011

DUTIES: Costume shop attendant for costume rentals, customer service and store maintenance. Box office assistant, trained in ticket sales, customer service in person and over the phone. Children’s camp assistant director for set construction, teaching elementary aged students to design and paint their own sets, as well as lighting design for final performance. Created a Facebook page for the Civic Theatre Costume Shop.

Whitworth Senior Art ExhibitionMay 2011

Exhibited 2 photos and two drawings at the Whitworth Lied Art Center and Saranac Art Projects. Created a Facebook page and event to promote the show.

SKILLS & ACTIVITIES

Experienced with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office. Basic carpentry and technical theatre skills, with experience using saws, drills and paint.

Photography, and short films. I take my own pictures for my blog. Most recent short films include a stop motion animation and costume design for a student film. Drawing and painting with watercolor and oil.

I am organizing the first national art show for the Chicago-based Free Speech Artists’ Rights organization. Social media will be an important tool for announcements and the overall the success of the show.

NextUp Spokane

 As co-chair of this non-profit organization for young people in Spokane, I help maintain the group’s Twitter, Facebook and blog accounts. I take part in planning for events such as ElkFest and the Complete Streets campaign.
